Amid the heated divorce issue, the communication between Raisa and Hamish Daud is not completely severed. Although Hamish did not attend the hearing, Raisa's attorney, Putra Lubis, stated that both parties are still in contact.

Their discussions, according to Putra, focus on the child's interests. As parents, both are trying to ensure that the impact of the divorce does not weigh too heavily on their child. The schedule for meeting with the child is one of the topics that Raisa and Hamish often discuss directly without involving their lawyers.

"Well, so the main source of information for me is actually from the Plaintiff. If there is anything from the Defendant, it is conveyed through the Plaintiff, and the Plaintiff communicates it to me," explained Putra Lubis.

This communication pattern is considered quite mature. The lawyer is only involved in technical matters of the trial, while personal and child-related issues are resolved directly between the two of them.

Putra Lubis admitted that he only occasionally contacted Hamish to ensure that the court summons had been received.

"So other matters, as long as they are not needed, I do not ask. So I make sure that he indeed knows the trial schedule and that the summons reached him," he said.

Raisa's presence in today's hearing also confirms that although communication is still ongoing, the decision to separate is final. Raisa is present to verify her lawsuit in front of the judge, accompanied by witnesses from her family and caretaker.

"So earlier the question was not about the separation. This is more to confirm whether it is true that a lawsuit has indeed been filed," added Putra.

Raisa is known to have filed for divorce on October 22, 2025, at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

Hamish Daud is also known to have attended the funeral of Raisa's mother, who passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

This shows that their communication pattern remains good even though they have separated.
