Raisa and Isyana have different backgrounds when it comes to music. Raisa learned music on her own. Having a good voice, in her youth, Raisa was also a vocalist in a band in high school. 

Not only that, Raisa is also skilled in playing the piano, and because of her piano skills, Raisa is able to create her own songs with her own distinctive style. 

On the other hand, Isyana has been dealing with musical notes since she was young. Moreover, her mother, who is also a music teacher, played a role in Isyana's musical life. 

Her interest in music led her to study at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore and the Royal College of Music in the United Kingdom. Not only that, Isyana can also play several musical instruments, such as piano, violin, guitar, and flute. And it is because of this that she is able to create many songs.

Debut with the single  Serba Salah in 2010, Raisa immediately became the talk of the town in the country. Not only that, she was even able to change the music trend in Indonesia, which at that time was mostly dominated by Malay music, and eventually became more groovy and jazzy.

Raisa started her career with jazzy music with a faster beat. However, changes occurred after she immersed herself in the music industry for several years after her debut. For music fans, it is certainly not unfamiliar with Raisa's super heartbreaking songs, such as 'Apalah (Arti Menunggu)', 'Terjebak Nostalgia', and 'Kali Kedua' which successfully evoke strong emotions in the listeners. As a pop and ballad singer, Raisa often appears wearing dresses that make her look more elegant. In every concert or show, Raisa always manages to impress her audience with the clothes that cling to her body.

As known, Raisa married Hamish Daud in 2017. Raisa's marriage successfully broke the hearts of many Indonesian men. The same goes for Isyana, who suddenly announced her marriage in early 2020, which broke the hearts of many men once again.
