Raj Kundra, Husband of Actress Shilpa Shetty, Arrested by Police in Connection with Pornography Case

Four months after the report was received, Raj was named a suspect and was picked up by the police. As reported by NDTV, Raj is referred to by the police as the 'main conspirator' in the pornography video production case.

Raj is said to be the initiator of the production and publication of adult films. The film was made in Mumbai and distributed through the internet.

"We have sufficient evidence regarding this," said the police.

1. Raj Kundra Case Begins

The case began in February 2021 when the police received a report of pornographic film shooting in a bungalow on Madh Island. The police immediately went to the scene and conducted a raid.

During the raid, the police found two people naked and shooting for intimate scenes. That night, the police arrested 5 people who were involved in the film production process.

That night, the police also rescued a woman from the house. This woman later became the complainant, leading to Raj Kundra's arrest.

In her statement, the woman claimed that the pornographic scenes were not part of the script she received. However, during the shooting process, the script was changed and she was asked to undress and perform intimate scenes.

2. Threats to the Cast

The police revealed that when the actors in the film refused to perform intimate scenes, the production threatened them. The threat was to pay all the bills during the shooting process.

Because they came from humble backgrounds, the actress and actors eventually complied with the crew's demands. However, in the end, one actress disagreed and chose to report it to the police.

From the police investigation, it was revealed that the producer behind those films was Raj Kundra. After the film was completed, Raj distributed it through a mobile application.

One of the applications used for distribution was Hotspot on Apple. Now, the application has been removed by Apple due to user complaints about adult content within it.
