Ramadan Month, Prilly Latuconsina Wants the Issue of Latu Family Name Parody Not to Be Exaggerated

Kapanlagi.com - Andre Taulany and Rina Nose's joke when parodying Prilly Latuconsina's name on a television program has led to a long aftermath. Both of them have been reported by a lawyer named Ruswan Latuconsina for defamation through electronic media by playing with the Latu family name.

Ruswan himself wants there to be an immediate suspect determination for both Andre and Rina. So far, there is no desire to settle it within the family.

"We strive in this report to immediately designate respondent one and respondent two as suspects. This is not a civil matter for us to give a summons or the like, this is purely criminal, an aduan offense," he said when contacted on Monday (18/5/2020).

2. No Connection with Prilly

Prilly Latuconsina's party itself has forgiven Andre Taulany and Rina Nose. Because what they both did was due to ignorance. However, Ruswan separated his report from the issue of the two artists with Prilly.

"So this is not Prilly's problem, this is a family problem. If you want to mock Prilly, just use her name, don't use Latuconsina. Moreover, Prilly was not present in the event," added Ruswan.

In response to someone reporting about the joke, Prilly Latuconsina advised that this issue should not be exaggerated. Especially during the holy month of Ramadan, it would be better to resolve it in a familial manner.

"As for me, I have forgiven and do not want this case to go to legal proceedings. Because this is an unintentional mistake. And this is the holy month of Ramadan, where we should be able to forgive each other because only Allah can forgive us all, the most forgiving. Are we as humans, who are prone to mistakes and sins, unable to forgive each other?" said Prilly, as quoted from a video circulated to the media, on Tuesday (19/5/2020).

4. The Holy Month of Ramadan

Prilly also emphasizes how Andre and Rina have apologized. Both of them should be forgiven considering that it is still the Ramadan season.

"So, I kindly request not to exaggerate this issue because the parties involved have already apologized and it would be better if during this holy month of Ramadan we can be more forgiving. Especially since our nation is currently facing Covid-19 together. So it's better if we can focus on things that need more attention. Thank you," said the 23-year-old actress.
