RANS Entertainment Rumored to be Sold, Raffi Ahmad Provides Clarification

Kapanlagi.com - PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi or EMTEK has officially partnered with RANS Entertainment, owned by Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina through the business unit of PT Surya Citra Media (SCM), namely IEP. The amount of injection received by RANS from Emtek is said to reach Rp 2 trillion.

"So we are looking for some companies, seniors who can collaborate with RANS. Finally, SCM entered RANS," said Raffi in the launching event.

Nevertheless, he mentioned that RANS Entertainment still has full control, and it will not affect the creativity of RANS in the future.

2. Want an IPO

"But, RANS Entertainment is still the majority, and there will also be some individuals who will join. So, slowly we will announce this monthly. This is only SCM, later there will be more besides SCM, developing," he added.

In the future, Raffi aspires for RANS to be able to make an initial public offering (IPO). "Later, if for example, our goal is IPO. We are strengthening the fundamentals first, those who join us are SCM, some seniors, figures who have already joined, so this is like pre-IPO," he said in a podcast with Helmi Yahya.
