Ready to Enliven the Music Scene, Dangdut Singers 2 Tokcer Release Debut Single Titled 'Izinkan Aku Melupakanmu'

Kapanlagi.com - Newcomer dangdut duo named Tiara Shaqueen and Virginia, who are part of 2 Tokcer, are ready to enliven the local music industry with their debut single titled 'Izinkan Aku Melupakanmu' (Allow Me to Forget You). The single, which was released two weeks ago, tells the story of betrayal in a relationship.

When met in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, recently, Tiara explained that the song broadly tells the story of two friends who love the same person. In the same occasion, Virginia added that in the song, the two women did not know that they had feelings for the same man all along.

"Yes, two weeks ago we released a new single. So the title is 'Izinkan Aku Melupakanmu' (Allow Me to Forget You), the story is about me having a boyfriend and being friends with Virginia. Turns out my boyfriend cheated on me with her, but both of us didn't know," Tiara said.

"Yes, the story is that we both didn't know that we were being deceived by the same guy," added Virginia.

1. Turns Out Old Friends

In addition, both of them also told how these 2 Tokcer were formed. Coincidentally, Tiara and Virginia turned out to be old friends asked to come to Jakarta and then united in a duo format.

Meanwhile, Baju Kerja Management did not know that they were old friends since they were still in Tasikmalaya and now they are pursuing their careers together as dangdut singers as 2 Tokcer.

"About a month ago, suddenly I was called to Jakarta and met her (Virginia), she is my friend in Tasik and we often hang out together," said Tiara.

2. Spontaneously Became a Duo

When they met, this duo format was initially just a spontaneous remark and was never planned.

"When we met, we spontaneously talked like 'let's just make a duo'. Then people started calling us 'two Tokcer'," Tiara concluded.
