Release of Debut Album 'And The Story Begins', Anneth Delliecia's Dream Finally Comes True

Kapanlagi.com - The dream of singer Anneth Delliecia to have a solo album has finally come true. The winner of Indonesian Idol Junior 2018 has just released her debut album titled And The Story Begins.

"This album is something very valuable to me. This has been my dream for a long time and it has finally come true. This is also the greatest pride for Anneth," said Anneth during a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Friday (22/4).

1. Favorite Color Song

The song Warna Favorit (Favorite Color) was chosen to be the opening single on this album. Created by Anneth herself and assisted by her music arranger Jeffrey Stefanus, this single is quite different from Anneth's previous songs which had a mellow nuance.

This song tells the story of someone who always supports their friend who is facing problems. Through the song Warna Favorit, Anneth conveys the message that even on the gloomiest days or in the heaviest hearts, there is still a chance to change the mood to be more cheerful. That mood is likened to a color by Anneth.

2. Talented Teenager

At the age of only 16, Anneth is a talented teenager who can create songs. Out of the 10 songs in this album, 8 of them are Anneth's own creations.

"Anneth is one of the most confident 16-year-olds I have ever met. Her ability to write songs is amazing, even as good as songwriters older than Anneth. I am very proud to release Anneth's solo album at KFC. It features the very popular talent of young Indonesia," said Steve Lillywhite, CEO of Jagonya Musik & Sport Indonesia.

3. Feeling Scared

However, Anneth felt scared and burdened when releasing this album. She was afraid that her album would not be as successful as her previous single, Mungkin Hari Ini Esok Atau Nanti, which reached 100 million views on YouTube.

"Actually, I have more of a feeling of being afraid that people's expectations for Anneth's songs will be like Mungkin Hari Ini Esok Atau Nanti. I'm afraid it won't be as big as that," she explained.

4. Hope

But because this album was made from her heart, Anneth hopes that the message she conveys through this album can reach her listeners.

"But I made (the album) from the heart, just waiting for the results, praying because something that comes from the heart will definitely reach the hearts of fans," said Anneth.

"Certainly, I hope it will be as cool as her sister's Mungkin Hari Ini Esok Atau Nanti. So all of these songs are my babies. Hopefully, they can follow in its footsteps and, of course, the messages I want to convey through these songs can reach the listeners," she concluded.
