"Many ask about my religion because they think I'm non-Muslim, maybe because of my appearance," said Novia, who was met by KapanLagi.com in the Sudirman area of South Jakarta some time ago.

When reading comments questioning her religion, Novia Bachmid doesn't really worry about it. Because if netizens are observant enough, it's already clear from her name what her beliefs are.

"I don't want to bother with questions about religion because it's a sensitive topic, isn't it? If they're curious, they can just Google it themselves. From my name alone, Novia Bachmid, they should already know," explained Novia.

2. Proud of Successful Film Debut

Novia Bachmid's debut film, MENJELANG MAGRIB, attracted 500,000 viewers during its release. This made the Indonesian Idol alumna proud.

"I'm really proud because this is my debut film. And it reached 500,000 viewers. Maybe people were curious about me in ODGJ. They wanted to see how Novi would be in ODGJ," she explained.

3. Picky About Accepting Roles

Due to the success of the film MENJELANG MAGRIB capturing public attention, Novia Bachmid revealed that she received many acting offers. However, she is quite selective in accepting them.

"I am a picky person. But when I read the script for MENJELANG MAGRIB, I wanted to take it because the message is good. The meaning is good for people who are restrained and for nature. That humans don't live alone, but there are also other spirits," said the singer of the song Ku Tutup Hatiku.
