Remembering Difficult Times While Building a Career, Ayu Ting Ting Sings at Various Events Even in the Rain

Through Rio Motret's YouTube channel, this dangdut singer reminisces about her difficult times. She admitted that she started her career from scratch until reaching the peak of success.

1. Difficult Times

"Before being able to be like now, I definitely experienced difficult times, especially since Ayu is not from a wealthy family," said Ayu to Rio. "In the past, it was really difficult from scratch. Walking in the rain, not having a vehicle. In fact, initially Ayu used to go around (performing at events)," she said.

Admitting that she first recorded in 2006, she started doing many shows from one city to another and was only paid IDR 250,000. "I was really happy as a junior high school student to earn that much money," Ayu recalled.

2. Thanks to Fake Address

During that time, Ayu Ting Ting apparently often sang the songs 'Fake Address' and 'Geboy Mujair'. Thanks to the song 'Fake Address', Ayu Ting Ting began to be more recognized and invited to television shows. She didn't expect her success to reach this point. "We never know someone's fate and fortune, so we shouldn't exclude people. I never knew it could be like this, suddenly booming in 2011. All of her songs, especially 'Fake Address'." She explained.
