Kapanlagi.com - Not always the married life of Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah looks sweet. Not many people know, apparently the two lovebirds once experienced difficult times at the beginning of their marriage.
According to Ruben, at that time he only had Rp 3 million in his pocket. Even though he and Sarwendah were spending their honeymoon in Bali after getting married.
"When I finished getting married in Bali, I spent quite a lot of money, only 75 guests, I had Rp 3 million left. But I didn't have any debt and I still had five days in Bali," said Ruben Onsu, as quoted from Luna Maya's Youtube channel (04/08).
Upon hearing that, Luna initially didn't believe it, but Ruben bluntly admitted that he was unemployed after marrying Sarwendah. To survive, they even had to sell some assets.
"Actually, at the time of our wedding, I was facing financial difficulties. I sold my car, sold my house," he explained.
Shortly after, it turned out that Ruben's name became more recognized as a television presenter. He also started his first business together with the former member of Cherrybelle.
"I believe that marriage brings blessings. So that (Rp 3 million) was the first money that Wendah and I fought for from scratch," said the father of three.
