Before being reported by Nicholas Sean, Ayu Thalia had previously reported to the North Jakarta Penjaringan Police Station for assault. However, the report was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
This dismissal made Ayu's legal representative, Pitra Romadhoni, question the situation as there was CCTV evidence that was not used by the police.
"From what I saw in the case summary, the CCTV was not used as evidence. So, which one are we going to prosecute? The problem is that the assault did not happen. There was CCTV there, where is the CCTV evidence?" Pitra said on Tuesday (10/5/2022).

Furthermore, if Pitra Romadhoni wants to prosecute Ayu Thalia, he wants the CCTV evidence to be revealed. Because it will show what really happened.
"If you really want to prosecute, you have to be fair, show the CCTV evidence. In the statement, there are ten witnesses explaining that there are 10 points, take the CCTV so that we can see together. It is not our authority to take it, it is the authority of the authorities," Pitra said firmly.
Before the problem becomes prolonged, Pitra Romadhoni warned Nicholas Sean to withdraw his report. Because if not, it will actually burden him as the reporter.
"If Ayu Thalia is not proven to have committed a criminal act, then there will be consequences and the heaviest risk to the reporter (Sean). Before it is decided, please withdraw your report before this gets a verdict from the North Jakarta District Court and the Supreme Court," Pitra said.
