Report Related to Defamation Has Been Taken to Investigation, Tasyi Athasyia Refuses to Mediate with the Culprit

Kapanlagi.com - Tasyi Athasyia returned to the Metro Jaya Police, accompanied by her husband, Syech Zaki, to undergo additional questioning regarding her report against several accounts suspected of defaming her. Syech Zaki underwent questioning and was asked about 20 questions by the investigators.

"So there are some additional statements that may have been conveyed by Tasyi and Habib, around 20 questions," said Sandy Arifin, legal counsel at the Metro Jaya Police, Wednesday (1/11/2023).

1. Investigation Stage Report

Tasyi's report is said to have reached the investigation stage. Furthermore, Sandy stated that they will present witnesses.

"We received information from the investigator that our report has reached the investigation stage," said Sandy.

"Next, witnesses from our side. Witnesses who have previously been present for examination will be present while waiting for the summons," Sandy added.

2. No Mediation Wanted

Tasyi herself emphasized that she does not want to be mediated with the parties she reported. That's why, when the investigators scheduled mediation, Tasyi chose not to attend.

"Indeed, I don't want mediation. Mediation is for people who admit fault and seek forgiveness. Mediation is given a pathway by the police, not their desire," Tasyi explained.

3. Hoping for a Smooth Process

Moving forward, Tasyi hopes that the case will proceed smoothly and can be brought to trial quickly. Especially considering the losses suffered by Tasyi due to the issue.

"Basically, we are no longer being malicious, we apologize in advance but still stubborn, if you want to report, go ahead and report now, it will be withdrawn, we are just ordinary citizens and we report if we feel greatly disadvantaged," he concluded.
