Reported for Alleged Domestic Violence, the Story of Ferry Irawan Who Once Swore on the Quran to Convince Venna Melinda's Parents

This alleged domestic violence case has shocked many. Because, until now, Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda have always shown their moments of affection in front of the camera.

Even recently they enjoyed a vacation moment in Hong Kong together with Venna's three children, Athalla Naufal, Verrell Bramasta, and Vania Athabina.

Venna's mother did not initially approve of her relationship with Ferry Irawan. In order to convince Venna's mother, Ferry even swore on the Quran that he had no ill intentions towards Venna.

"The way to convince her parents again was, first, before I met her parents, I took the Quran. I told her (Venna), I swear to Allah, not to any creature, on this Quran. That I have no intentions towards her, no matter how bad or evil. I come with good intentions and my goal is to perform a marriage. And I also said that when I met her father, mother, and my own mother," he explained when invited to the TS Media channel.

Venna's mother and father asked for assurance from Ferry Irawan, who at that time wanted to marry Venna. Ferry emphasized that he was ready to bear the heavy consequences if he violated the oath he made on the Quran.

"I swear in the name of Allah. In Islam, it is in Surah Al-Maidah verse 42, if I break my oath, the responsibility is heavy because I made this promise not to a creature but to its Creator," he added.

Even Ferry was 'interrogated' by Venna's son, Athalla Naufal, regarding his seriousness in marrying his mother. Athalla asked Ferry not to hurt and to take care of Venna Melinda.

"There is one thing he said, uncle, you know that my mother is a good person. So uncle has to guarantee to me that you won't disappoint my mom. I ask for your commitment," said Venna Melinda.
