Ressa Rizky Sues Denada for Child Recognition and 24 Years of Support Costs

The civil lawsuit filed by Ressa Rizky Rossan (24) against singer Denada is not without strong reasons. Through her legal counsel, Ressa outlined important points that form the basis of her demand in the case of alleged child abandonment currently underway in court.

Ressa's main demand is the recognition of her status as a biological child. This is deemed crucial as it pertains to the civil rights associated with the mother-child relationship according to the laws in force in Indonesia.

"Yes, the demand is actually primarily for Ressa's recognition as a child. Because we are also protecting her rights. Ressa's rights as a child are clear when we talk about civil concepts, the child has a civil relationship with her mother," said Andika Meigista, Ressa's attorney, when met via Zoom on Thursday (15/01/2026).

In addition to the status, Ressa is also demanding the fulfillment of obligations that have been considered neglected. This includes basic living expenses that should be the responsibility of the biological parents.

Ressa's side highlights the absence of Denada's role in providing financial support for decades. This is what Ressa's legal team wants to fight for so that their client receives justice.

"That is why it is the mother's obligation to provide alimony, education expenses, and medical costs when she is sick, and that must be fulfilled," Andika emphasized.

Not only that, this lawsuit also includes material and immaterial losses. For 24 years, Ressa was raised by her uncle and aunt in Banyuwangi without financial assistance from the party being sued.

The foster family of Ressa is said to have borne all living expenses without ever receiving a single penny. This lawsuit also serves as a form of struggle for the family that has sincerely cared for Ressa.

"And also the material and immaterial losses that have been borne by the uncle and aunt who have taken care of him for 24 years without ever receiving a single penny, and have never been asked how they are," he concluded.
