Raffi's vacation was his long break because he needed to rest due to voice problems he experienced. At that time, Raffi almost lost his voice due to a vocal cord disorder.

1. Undergoing Treatment in Japan

During his recent vacation, Raffi Ahmad chose to visit the Holy Land of Mecca, and then continued his journey with Gigi in Japan. There is a reason why Raffi chose Japan as the last country he visited before returning to Indonesia.

The famous 33-year-old presenter apparently also underwent treatment there for a few days. "Actually, I went to Japan for a little bit of medical treatment, just for a short time, only 3 days and 2 nights," said Raffi Ahmad quoted from YouTube's Intens Investigasi, Monday (24/2/2020).

"It's just for health purposes. Actually, I also have Professor Dede here in Jakarta. But I also wanted to check more in the regional area, more about overall health," he continued.

2. Voice Is Gradually Getting Better

Raffi Ahmad said that before he went on vacation with his family 4 months ago, he admitted that his voice could hardly come out and he had to exert more effort for his voice to be heard by people.

However, since this long enough rest, his voice has started to improve. Nagita Slavina's husband can now speak normally as before.

"Yesterday, his voice was really exhausted, but now it's okay, no need to use double the effort, it's already good, his speech can be heard," he explained.

3. Not Having Surgery

While in Japan, Raffi Ahmad did undergo health therapy. However, not only that, Raffi also received advice to have his vocal cords operated on, but he refused because after the operation he would have to rest even longer.

"The choice at that time was surgery, if operated on, the rest period would be longer, about 9 months," he said.
