Returning Early from Yemen to Mediate with Richard Lee, Kartika Putri Feels Disappointed

Kapanlagi.com - Kartika Putri answered the police's call to mediate with Dr. Richard Lee regarding the alleged defamation case. However, this mediation failed again because Richard Lee did not attend. Even though this mediation was also at the request of Richard Lee.

"This is the third time (mediation), the first one was scheduled by the police, he didn't attend, the second one also didn't attend, and the third one at the request of the defendant. He requested today, the defendant's lawyer determined today's date," said Kartika Putri when met at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, South Jakarta, Wednesday (14/4).

1. Intentionally Returning Earlier from Yemen

Kartika Putri has even made time to return earlier from Yemen because she is accompanying her child to school. Richard Lee's absence is due to Kartika Putri's recent return from abroad. Even though she has taken a PCR test and the result is negative for COVID.

"I returned all the way from Yemen to follow the government regulations, so I made time to return earlier to quarantine. But the person in question did not attend with the excuse that I just returned from abroad. This is my recent PCR result that came out on April 14th. Alhamdulillah, I am negative for COVID," she expressed.

2. Kartika Putri Feels Disappointed and Played

Therefore, she feels very disappointed and played because of Richard Lee's absence in this mediation.

"Honestly, if I were to say disappointed, my disappointment is only because I am sad that I should have stayed longer in Yemen with my eldest daughter who is studying there. Finally, I had to return earlier out of respect and appreciation for good intentions. But it turns out I am disappointed and feel played, that's all," she concluded.

3. Because of Beauty Products

Their problem began when Richard Lee urged artists not to promote beauty products containing hydroquinone indiscriminately because they were considered dangerous. It turns out that the product in question was once promoted by Kartika Putri.

Feeling aggrieved by Richard Lee's statement, Kartika Putri reported the doctor to the police for alleged defamation after sending two summonses. Richard Lee then reported Kartika Putri back to the South Sumatra Police with the same alleged case.
