Returning from Umrah, Irfan Hakim Buys Kafan and Prepares Graves for Family

Kapanlagi.com - Irfan Hakim made a surprising confession. Unlike most people who buy souvenirs after returning from Umrah, this presenter actually admitted to buying kafan cloth in preparation for his own death.

Appearing as a guest star on Denny Cagur's Youtube channel, Irfan Hakim revealed what he did after returning from Umrah, "I bought kafan cloth, a cover for the coffin, during Umrah while others buy sajadah, carpets, and other things, I bought a cover for the coffin."

1. Buy Grave Land for Family

For Irfan Hakim, this decision is not unfounded. Because he intentionally bought shrouds and grave land to prepare himself. "One of them is to remind us of what we will become. Remind us of our own lives," added Irfan.

Aside from being a reminder, another reason Irfan bought grave land for his family is so that they can be buried in the same place in the future. Especially since Irfan Hakim has experienced losing family graves because the permits were not renewed.

"My younger sibling died when I was in 2nd grade, buried in a public cemetery. The grave disappeared because it wasn't renewed and other reasons... When we wanted to visit, it was no longer there. My sibling-in-law's grave also disappeared. So, I made a grave," he explained to Denny Cagur.

2. Convincing Parents

Many challenges for Irfan to be able to get a burial plot for his family. Not only finding a place, he also has to convince his family that this action does not mean praying for something bad.

"It takes struggle and negotiation that spreads to parents. Afraid it might push them to die. But in the end they agreed. We surveyed there," he concluded.
