Returning to Filming 'Samudra Cinta', Rangga Azof and Haico Admit Feeling Stiff After 3 Months of Rest

Kapanlagi.com - The soap opera Samudra Cinta returned with new episodes since the beginning of this week (29/6/2020). The flagship program of SCTV took a three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic.

When they returned to filming, the two main stars, Haico Van Der Veken and Rangga Azof, admitted feeling a little stiff. However, after one day, they were able to relax and carry out activities as usual.

"Because we didn't film for three months, we felt a bit stiff at first," said Haico during a press conference via Zoom, on Wednesday (1/7/2020).

"On set, we felt a bit stiff because we were thinking about the physical limitations when we first met (after the pandemic). But after one day, it started to flow smoothly," added Azof in the same session.

The characters Samudra and Cinta played by Rangga Azof and Haico Van Der Veken have become very close to the audience. So, how close are these characters to the personal lives of each actor?

"Cinta and I are like two peas in a pod. Here, the character is a college student who is roughly the same age," said Haico, who turned 17 years old last February.

While Haico feels close to the character Cinta, Azof feels that the character is far from him. Not only in terms of age, but also in the portrayal of Samudra.

"Samudra is different from Azof. Samudra's character is under 25 years old, while I am no longer that young. He is a college student like a high school student there," concluded Azof.
