Revealed: The Flow of Funds from Harvey Moeis to Sandra Dewi's Account of Rp 3.15 Billion, Following Allegations of Tin Corruption

Kapanlagi.com - The case of major corruption allegations involving Harvey Moeis, the husband of artist Sandra Dewi, has now entered a new chapter. In the first hearing held at the Central Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (14/8/2024), Harvey was charged with involvement in alleged corruption related to the management of tin commodity trading in the Mining Business License (IUP) area at PT Timah Tbk, which is estimated to have caused state losses of up to Rp 371 trillion.

During the trial, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) revealed suspicious fund flows that are alleged to originate from corruption and money laundering activities. One of the highlighted fund flows is the transfer of funds from Harvey Moeis to his wife's account, Sandra Dewi. According to the JPU, Harvey Moeis transferred an amount of Rp 3.15 billion to Sandra Dewi's account from an account under the name PT Quantum Skyline Exchange.

“Transferring that money from the account of PT Quantum Skyline Exchange, Kristiyono, and PT Refined Bangka Tin from the year 2018 to 2023, among others, to the account of Sandra Dewi as the wife of the defendant HARVEY MOEIS at Bank BCA account number 07040xxxxxx under the name Sandra Dewi in the amount of Rp 3,150,000,000,” said the JPU in the main courtroom of the Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (14/8/2024).

1. Transfer to Personal Assistant

Not only to Sandra Dewi's account, but Harvey Moeis also transferred money to the account of Sandra Dewi's personal assistant, Ratih Purnamasari. A sum of Rp 80 million was sent by Harvey to the account in the name of Ratih Purnamasari at Bank BCA, which according to the Public Prosecutor was intended for the needs of Sandra Dewi.

“Ratih Purnamasari as the personal assistant of Sandra Dewi at Bank BCA account number 7140xxxxxx in the name of Ratih Purnamasari amounting to Rp 80,000,000 for the needs of Sandra Dewi,” explained the Public Prosecutor.

Harvey also received cash payments for security funds from the private smelter. Then, the money from PT QSE and cash from the smelter was used by Harvey for, among other things, the purchase of land on Jalan Haji Kelik, West Jakarta, in the name of Sandra Dewi.

Then, the purchase of a plot of land in Senayan Residence with the title holder in the name of Harvey Moeis, which was then developed using a special account opened by Harvey Moeis, with most of the funds coming from PT Quantum Skyline Exchange and PT Refined Bangka Tin. The purchase of a plot of land in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, in the name of Harvey Moeis and the payment for a luxury house rental in Melbourne, Australia, amounting to Rp 5,765,130,530.

Harvey also bought luxury cars in the name of the company and other individuals. In the name of PT Mitra Jasautama Semesta, there were 1 Toyota Vellfire, 1 Lexus RX 300, 1 Porsche Speedster, and 1 Ferrari. In the name of PT Jasuindo Tiga Perkasa, there was 1 Mercedes Benz, and in the name of Gusti Ariq Ibrahim Siregar, there was a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. Then, the purchase of 1 Mini Cooper in the name of Harvey Moeis in 2022, and then 1 Rolls Royce in 2023 without a BPKP.
