Rezky Aditya Absent, Wenny's Lawsuit Hearing Requests Child Recognition Postponed

Kapanlagi.com - The Tangerang District Court held a hearing for Wenny Anggraeni Kusumawardani's lawsuit against actor Rezky Aditya on Wednesday (14/7/2021). The mediation hearing was attended by Wenny as the plaintiff accompanied by her lawyer. Meanwhile, Rezky Aditya did not attend and was only represented by his lawyer.

Since Rezky Aditya did not attend, the panel of judges postponed the trial. Because in the mediation hearing, the judge requested the presence of both principals.

"Postponed, so it will be on July 28. Because Rezky didn't come. He was only represented by his lawyer. As for us, Wenny was present," said Muhammad Anwar, Wenny's lawyer when met at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (14/7/2021).

1. Request for Recognition

As known, Wenny, who claims to have a child with Rezky Aditya, filed a lawsuit in the Tangerang District Court on June 30, 2021.

In the lawsuit, Wenny requests Rezky Aditya to acknowledge their 8-year-old child. Additionally, Wenny also requests the Court to seize Rezky Aditya's assets, namely a house and a four-wheeled vehicle.

2. Demand of Rp17.5 Billion

Wenny also demands material and immaterial damages totaling Rp17.5 billion. Previously, Ferry Aswan, as Wenny Ariani's legal representative, stated that their main goal is not to obtain money from Rezky Aditya.

The recognition of Rezky Aditya's child has become the primary objective of Wenny Ariani and her legal representative. "Actually, our goal is not there, our goal is to prove the child's existence and responsibility," said Ferry Aswan when met in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta, recently.

3. Civil Case

Because Wenny Ariani's lawsuit is a civil case, it requires material and immaterial aspects, so they made the decision to sue for Rp17.5 billion.

However, Ferry reiterated that their goal is not to obtain money. Ferry said it is not easy to obtain the appropriate material and immaterial aspects from a civil trial.

"It's just that because it is a civil lawsuit, we have to follow it. There are material and immaterial aspects. But our goal is not there. Besides, that matter is not easily granted," he said.
