Ridwan Kamil Has Accepted the Departure of Eril, Writes a Touching 'Letter' for the Aare River

Kapanlagi.com - The disappearance of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz or Eril in the Aare River, Switzerland brings deep sorrow not only to Ridwan Kamil's family but also to the entire Indonesian people. After an intensive search that has not yielded results, Ridwan Kamil and Atalia Praratya's family finally decided to return to Indonesia.

Knowing that many people are worried and sympathize, Ridwan Kamil then gave his official statement upon arriving in Indonesia. He revealed it through his social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram. In his writing, Ridwan stated that he and his family have accepted the departure of their beloved child with sincerity.

"Innalilahi wainna illaihi rajiun. With this, we officially release and accept with all our hearts the passing of our beloved child, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz. Please forgive us if there were any mistakes or shortcomings during his lifetime," wrote Ridwan Kamil on June 3, 2022.

1. Invitation for a Prayer Together

Today, Saturday (4/6), Ridwan Kamil's family plans to hold a prayer together. The Governor of West Java also invited the public to send prayers for Eril.

"Our family has returned to our homeland and will hold a prayer together after Dhuhr and Asr prayers tomorrow, Saturday for those who are willing to come to Pakuan Building Bandung residence. Thank you," he continued.

2. 'Poem' for Aare River

Kang Emil, as he is affectionately known, also wrote a touching message to bid farewell to his beloved child. His writing was addressed to the Aare River, which is believed to be Eril's final resting place.

"Oh Aare River, as fellow creatures of Allah SWT, I entrust my child's body to you. I have recited my best adhan on your banks. May you make him happy in your beauty. May you wrap him in your warmth. May you protect him in your grandeur." Purify him in your clarity. Make our prayers a shining light for the martyr's body in your base. You have been destined as the most beautiful and best place for him to meet with his true owner and protector, Allah SWT. Promise me, oh Aare River," concluded Kang Emil.

3. Call for Gaib Prayer for Eril

Previously, the MUI of West Java held a gaib prayer at the MUI Jabar office on Thursday (2/6) at around 7:30 pm WIB. Through a post from Relawan Jabar Juara, an invitation was also made to all Muslim communities in Indonesia to perform gaib prayer. According to religious regulations, gaib prayer is performed for the deceased whose status has not been found or confirmed.

Gaib prayer for Eril will be held simultaneously on Friday (3/6) in every mosque or musala throughout Indonesia. MUI Jabar urges that gaib prayer be performed before or after Friday prayers.
