Rizky Billar's Side Denies the Inauguration of His New Restaurant Being Unauthorized

Kapanlagi.com - The inauguration event of Rizky Billar's new restaurant, Raja Sei branch in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, is said to have violated health protocols. Not only that, when confirmed, the Tanjung Duren Police stated that there was no permit for crowds during the restaurant's inauguration.

Basuki Surodjo, also known as Cobaz, as Rizky Billar's business partner, denied the allegations when met at the Tanjung Duren Police Station on Wednesday afternoon (3/10). He said that for a crowd, they didn't need a permit because the event was only an inauguration.

"Indeed, for the opening, we don't need a permit for crowds because we already have a business permit, but it's only for the inauguration, come, eat with the owners, and then go home, that's it," said Basuki Surodjo.

"So, in my opinion, for the permit, as long as we want to open a business, I think it's safe as long as there is a restaurant permit, but we didn't invite anyone," he continued.

1. Disperse the Existing Crowd

Regarding the arrival of the regional public order agency (Satpol PP) to close the restaurant branch, Cobaz emphasized that it was only an effort to disperse the existing crowd. He stated that it was only a closure for 1x 24 hours, not as a punishment.

"It is only a recommendation to disperse the crowd, if it is not closed, people will surely come, so it is recommended to close it so that there is no crowd, it is only for 1x24 hours. Not sealed but recommended, not punishment but a recommendation," he said.

2. A Lesson for Rizky Billar

Cobaz also stated that the crowd that occurred was unexpected for him and his colleagues. Therefore, this will definitely be a lesson for Rizky Billar and his business partners.

"As the owner, we are not at fault, but it happened to involve an artist, whom we did not invite. We attended the inauguration and the crowd was unexpected for us. Perhaps in the future, it will become a lesson and further reinforce the applicable regulations," he concluded.
