Rizky Nazar to Omar Daniel Injured During Filming of 'SATRIA DEWA: GATOTKACA'

Kapanlagi.com - Rizky Nazar shared his experience while shooting the film 'SATRIA DEWA: GATOTKACA'. Playing in an action film, of course, involves a lot of fighting scenes. He admitted to having suffered many injuries during the shoot.

"There were many, from the scene where I was thrown into a tree, the take wasn't just once. It was quite tiring, there were many, during the fighting scenes, during the chase scenes," said Rizky Nazar during the launch of the SATRIA DEWA: GATOTKACA poster and trailer at XXI Margo City Mall Depok, Friday (13/5).

1. Without a Stuntman?

Because almost all scenes were done by Rizky Nazar himself. Only a few dangerous scenes were done by a stuntman or a replacement actor.

"Some scenes used a stuntman. If there were scenes that were too risky, then a stuntman was used. Because I was shooting not just for one scene, there were several that had to be done. But in the trailer, I did everything. Mostly, it was just me," he said.

2. Omar Daniel and Yasmin Napper Also Injured

Not only Rizky Nazar, other players like Omar Daniel and Yasmin Naspper also suffered injuries during filming.

"There were injuries during the workshop, but not too serious. Because there were many arrows, so the arms were bruised. But they say almost all archers are like that, bruised in the arm area," said Omar Daniel.

"There was one scene, it's in the trailer where I flipped and hit my head when I fell," added Yasmin Napper.

3. Moved by the Trailer

However, all the sacrifices and hard work done by the players finally paid off with very satisfying results. Just by watching the trailer, they felt moved.

"Happy and moved to see the result, it's incredibly cool. Because we went through a long shooting process, from preparation to execution on location with exhaustion. Seeing the result, we are proud and can't wait for everyone to see it (watch)," said Rizky Nazar.

This Indonesian superhero film directed by Hanung Bramantyo will be released in theaters starting from June 9, 2022.
