Ruben Onsu Reports Several Accounts that Bully Betrand Peto to the Police

Kapanlagi.com - Represented by his legal counsel, Minola Sebayang, Ruben Onsu officially reported several social media accounts that conducted bullying towards Betrand Peto to the integrated police service center of the Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (13/12). Not only that, there are 10 accounts reported by him.

"The perpetrators whose accounts we reported, approximately 10 accounts on Facebook, Instagram, or videos," said Minola Sebayang.

1. Charged with Different Articles

From several of those accounts, the police charged them with different articles, including Article 27 paragraph (3) jo, Article 45 of the ITE Law jo, Article 310 and 311 jo, Article 156 of the Criminal Code. Minola Sebayang, the legal counsel of Ruben Onsu, also explained the reasons.

"Because the actions were different, some were defamation, some were insults, some were blasphemy, some were threats," added Minola Sebayang.

2. Encountered Obstacles

Previously, Betrand Peto was known to be a victim of bullying by several accounts. According to Minola, Ruben had actually wanted to report to the police for a long time. However, it was hindered by the numerous accounts asking for forgiveness.

"We wanted to report, but then someone apologized, someone else needed us to rearrange, then there were new developments, and there were people who insulted again. So, to avoid repetition, we waited until everything was completed, the data was complete so that there would be no more movements, no more additions, and then we would report it," said Minola.
