Rushed to the ER Due to Hypertension, Jessica Iskandar Nervous Awaiting the Birth of Her Third Child

Kapanlagi.com - Presenter Jessica Iskandar had to undergo treatment in the ER due to high blood pressure. Although it is not related to the delivery process, this condition has made Jessica and her family quite worried. Her blood pressure was recorded at 159/94 mmHg.

Previously, doctors had warned Jessica to manage her blood pressure, especially as she approached the delivery of her third child. This condition forced her to receive immediate medical attention.

"So, whether I like it or not, I have to... be injected first. So, hopefully everything goes smoothly. The high blood pressure is just due to exhaustion," she said when met in the Grogol area, West Jakarta, Saturday (30/11/2024).

Jessica admits that she is a little nervous as she approaches the birth of her third child. Her worries increase upon learning that hypertension could affect the condition of the baby in the womb.

"Actually, I'm nervous because I'm just afraid that high blood pressure could cause the baby to have difficulty getting oxygen and all that," Jessica explained.

Nevertheless, Jessica remains optimistic and hopes that her delivery will go smoothly. She is also starting to pay more attention to her health to ensure that her blood pressure does not rise again.

Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag got married on October 22, 2021. From this marriage, they have been blessed with a son named Don Azaiah Jan Verhaag. Now, the couple is awaiting the birth of their second child together.
