After a long wait, the verdict hearing by the North Jakarta District Court Panel of Judges on the drug case involving Zulkifli alias Zul Zivilia was held today, Wednesday (18/12). As a result, the prosecutor reduced the sentence from life imprisonment to 18 years in prison.
The wife, Retno Paradinah, couldn't hold back her tears when the decision was announced.
In addition, the chairman of the panel also imposed a fine of Rp 1 billion on the Zivilia band vocalist. If unable to pay, the punishment will be extended for another year.
Retno also appeared sad because even though the sentence was lightened, she still felt it was heavy for her.
