Sad News, Melisha Idol Passes Away Due to Heart Swelling

The sad news was announced by an Instagram user named Ellysia Belinda who is believed to be a close relative of Melisha. From her statement, the family was shocked to find Melisha's sudden departure.

"Melisha was called by God. Honestly, we are very sad. The family still cannot accept this. Let us pray for strength and God's presence to accompany the family. Amen," Ellysia wrote on her IG Story post, Tuesday night (8/12).

Furthermore, Ellysia also recounted the chronology of Melisha's departure. The girl who had a twin named Melitha died because there was swelling in her heart.

"So it has been X-rayed, and it was found that there was swelling in the heart. So she has been weak since this morning or yesterday (not sure exactly, guys). Then her mother said that she wanted to take her to the hospital since yesterday, but Melisa said no, afraid of COVID. Finally, today she really became weak and this brief incident happened," explained Ellysia.

"She has been taken to THB Hospital since noon, also to Citra Hospital, but in Citra there is no CPR device that can shock the heartbeat. I'm so worried. And at 5 o'clock, there was already a death certificate from the doctor," she continued.

2. Anointed and Formalinized

From Ellysia's latest update, it is known that the body of the deceased has been taken to the funeral home and has been bathed and prayed together. After that, the body will also be formalinized.

"After the joint worship, Melisha was anointed and will be formalinized. Let us pray for God's presence for the bereaved family," concluded Ellysia.

3. Journey in Indonesian Idol Ends

For those of you who don't know, Melisha made it to the 3rd audition round of Indonesian Idol Special Season. On that occasion, she performed the song How Am I Supposed to Live Without You by Michael Bulton.
