Thalita Latief hopes that her divorce lawsuit filed in the Central Jakarta Religious Court will proceed smoothly and quickly obtain a judge's decision.

She said her marriage with Dennis can no longer be saved. Since Dennis left the house 3 years ago, she feels like she's been living without a husband.

"Anyway, I want to finish this quickly. As a woman, I don't want to receive treatment that I shouldn't receive anymore," said Thalita Latief at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, Thursday (1/4/2021).

"He didn't fulfill the role of a good and proper father that he should have done, but he didn't. Where was he when I was sick?" she added.

Thalita also hopes that Dennis doesn't delay the trial by questioning the custody rights of their child. Thalita is confident that their child, Rafello Dimitri Rizky, will be better taken care of.

"So, I just want this to be finished quickly. Fairly, my child is with me. Because that's the best for my child," she said.

Thalita Latief filed for divorce against Dennis at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on March 22, 2021. The first hearing was held on April 1, 2021.

"So today we had our first hearing. I am here with my client. The defendant did not attend but was represented by his legal counsel," said Maruli Tampubolon, Thalita Latief's legal counsel.

"Now we have been given time for mediation next Tuesday and will only proceed with the main case on Thursday, the 15th," he concluded.
