Sarwendah and Betrand Peto Become Roasting Material, Ruben Onsu Immediately Calls Indro Warkop

Kapanlagi.com - Ruben Onsu's wife and child, Sarwendah and Betrand Peto, were used as material for Stand Up by comedian Ridwan Remin. Apparently, Ridwan Remin's Stand Up material offended Ruben Onsu because his child and wife became the subject of roasting or joking with teasing material.

Regarding this matter, Ruben Onsu immediately called senior comedian Indro Warkop. Ruben asked for advice from Indro Warkop regarding roasting in Stand Up Comedy.

1. Call Indro Warkop

"I have only called Indro Warkop. I shared with him as a senior in comedy, that to roast someone, you need permission directly from the person or the person being roasted must be present in front of the person roasting so they can give a response," said Ruben Onsu on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Wednesday (9/2/2021).

2. Must Ask Permission First

Ruben said, roasting someone should ask for permission first from the person being roasted. If there is an agreement, then the Comedian can perform it on stage.

"Now this is without my permission and it's uploaded to his Youtube content. I didn't see what was in front of him, whether it was an event or something, I don't care. Whether the video is old or not, digital footprints will not disappear," Ruben said.

3. Appeal to Conscience

Ruben is upset with Ridwan Remin's roasting material because he involves his wife and child.

"I'm appealing to his conscience. If it were a woman, would he allow his mother to be roasted like that? Would he allow his child to be roasted like that or mocked like that," Ruben concluded.
