The reason is quite amusing. She admitted that she once tried to teach on her own, but it ended in 'drama' because the children had many excuses. To maintain a harmonious mother-child relationship, she handed it over to the experts.

"Actually, I could be a Mandarin teacher, but I have already tried with my children. Rather than having a fighting relationship between mother and child due to the many excuses from the kids, we decided to hire a native Chinese teacher," she said when met in the Jatiwaringin area, Pondok Gede, on Monday (22/9/2025).

In addition to Mandarin, her two daughters also take lessons in various subjects, ballet, and piano. Specifically for Thalia (Cici), ballet lessons have become her main focus and take up a lot of time until late at night.

"Just the ballet takes up so much of her time, it goes on until 9 PM before it's done," she revealed.

Among all the lessons, there was one unique request from the youngest, Thania. It turns out, Thania really wanted to take lessons to become a mermaid!

"She wants mermaid lessons, Nia," said Sarwendah with a smile.

"I’m happy, proud. Onyo also has a schedule to go to Batam, somewhere like that. I mean, he will still be studying, after all, Onyo is already starting to grow up, he is already an adult actually. So I monitor him, but the responsibility is on him," she said.
