"I jumped into the river and forced him to reach out to me. But his grip slipped and he drifted further away. I kept shouting at him to hold onto my hand and finally managed to pull his body," Habibi recalled as quoted from news.sky.com.

Not alone, Habibi was also assisted by his colleague named Ron Dawson in rescuing the man. However, when interviewed, Angie Yulia's husband tended to be humble.

"The man was trembling and couldn't speak. But I am relieved because he is safe. I am not a hero. Ron and I were just doing what is our duty to help," Habibi continued.
