Second Child is a Boy, Tantri Kotak Gives Birth on a Beautiful Date

Kapanlagi.com - Tantri Kotak has just given birth to her second child on Thursday, which coincided with the beautiful date of February 20, 2020. Tantri gave birth in the morning precisely at 07.43 AM (WIB) through a cesarean section, and her baby is a boy.

"With the cesarean process, the second child is a boy, alhamdulillah. So, we no longer have to wonder about his weight, which is 3.5 kg, and his length is 52 cm," said Arda, Tantri Kotak's husband, when met at Mayapada Hospital, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta on Saturday (22/2/2020).

1. Confused in Naming the Child

After giving birth, Tantri was still in the process of recovering from surgery, she was confused about giving a full name to her second child. Eventually, she came up with a meaningful full name.

"Oh yes, this is the first time I entered the second day of the surgery process to weigh a name that has been quite confusing for us in the past few months, the nickname is already there but the full name was just obtained recently. And if you look at my search history on Google, the meaning of the name is already determined today. His name is Arkhairan Cadenza Tanarda, it means the father," said Tantri.

"Arakhairan, Arka is a family comforter, and Khairan is the sun which means thank you for goodness, Kadenza is an Italian word for music because we are musicians, Tanarda is an Indonesian standard because it has a lineage from Arda and Tantri, so the hope is that this child will become a family comforter and bring the goodness of music because music is what makes people flexible and find beauty in the lineage of Arda and Tantri," explained Arda.

2. Becoming a Lesson

Being born on a beautiful date has made Tantri have a long story for her first child. Tantri revealed that giving birth to her first child was a normal process. However, when giving birth to her second child, she turned it into a lesson because a mother's struggle to give birth prefers a normal process.

"Actually, if you say intentionally or unintentionally, because the HPL (Estimated Due Date) doesn't approach that date and the process of giving birth to the first child was also through normal means, so I have a long story from the first child that can be a lesson for the second child. The first child, I had six openings and two inductions, it can be said that it was a bit of induction, and finally it ended up being a cesarean section, so it was quite tiring and in the end, I had a lot of baby blues because I wasn't focused on breastfeeding and everything," said Tantri.

"That's why it became a lesson for the second child, not that I didn't want it to be normal, everyone wants it to be normal, but a mother's struggle is not seen from whether it's normal or not, but after that, the mother's struggle is still very long. From the second child, I had to focus on breastfeeding and didn't want to have baby blues again, that's the lesson I took. When the first child was born, the father immediately posted it, so it became viral, this time I took it on the 21st with the reason that I wanted to bond with my child, that's it," she concluded.
