Selebgram Mega Iskanti Gets Married 'Online' Amidst the Corona Virus Pandemic

Kapanlagi.com - Good news comes from selebgram Mega Iskanti. Last Saturday (2/4), she was married to her partner, Muhammad Najauta, in Bandung, West Java. The wedding process was held in a simple, intimate manner and attended only by close family members.

Although not sharing in detail, Mega and her husband had to go through a difficult struggle to reach their wedding day. As is known, the current condition in the country is not conducive due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Alhamdulillah SAH (legally married). There is no need to explain the struggles and dramas, but in the past few weeks, it felt like a roller coaster. Surely couples getting married in these months understand the feeling. But Alhamdulillah, we made it to today," Mega wrote in the caption of her post.

1. Only Attended by Immediate Family

Initially, Mega wanted to hold the akad nikah (Islamic wedding ceremony) by inviting more people. However, she realized that it was not possible to do so given the current conditions. In fact, she will postpone the wedding reception until the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"However, we apologize to all the invited guests, friends, and extended family, because we have to hold this akad nikah in a closed manner due to the unfavorable conditions. Therefore, we have decided to proceed with the akad nikah, but only attended by immediate family. God willing, we will postpone the reception until the conditions become conducive again," she continued.

On that occasion, Mega and her husband wore all-white outfits in the Minang bridal fashion called 'Suntiang Ketek'.

Although held in a closed manner, this couple utilized technology by broadcasting their akad nikah online. As a result, relatives and followers who couldn't attend could also witness their special day.

Hopefully, the condition of the earth and this country will quickly improve as before. For couples experiencing the same situation, stay strong! This will all come to an end," Mega concluded.
