"During the pandemic, I didn't do radio because of my child. If I did radio, I would leave home at 4am. If there are other jobs, I can go home the next morning," said Asri Welas when met in the Gambir area, Central Jakarta recently.
Asri Welas reasoned that she has felt that she has not paid enough attention to the development of her child, especially Rayyan Gibran Ridha Rahardja, because she is busy working.
"My second child only started talking fluently when I was at home. I am sad because I have been busy working and have never paid attention to my child's development," said Asri Welas.
"Now I work while being able to see my child's development," she continued.

Therefore, Asri Welas is happy when she can invite her children to learn to perform fasting throughout Ramadan. Especially inviting her eldest child, Rajwa Gilbran Ridha Rahardja, who is 13 years old, to fast.
"This Ramadan, I focus on inviting children to perform worship. My first child can only fast now. I teach fasting to my eldest child, who already has responsibilities for themselves, the environment, and God," she explained.
In addition, although her eldest child, Asri Welas, has been learning to fast since a year ago, she hopes to be given a gift after completing the fasting. However, this is not a problem as long as the child is willing to learn to fulfill their obligation to the Creator.
"Last year, the fast was full, but in the end, he asked for a gift. It's okay, as long as my child has tried to fast. The gift is a game because he likes to play games," she concluded.
