Senior comedian from the homeland Indro Warkop recently released an educational video titled 'Don't Know? Give No!' with Bank BCA. This educational video is motivated by the rampant cases of phishing and online fraud.
Indro Warkop emphasizes that BCA customers in particular should be careful when using social media and be cautious when pressing or clicking on mysterious links such as wedding invitations, traffic tickets, and so on.
Indro Warkop expressed his concern about the increasing trend of online fraud.
"If we directly advertise, sometimes it becomes something unattractive and doesn't stick in the consumers' minds. We showed more of the consumers' experiences, and what appeared in the video was a real fraud that was reported by consumers to us. Don't Know? Give No!", pronounced "dono kasino", similar to the names of the Warkop DKI members (the late) Dono, (the late) Kasino, and Indro," said Santoso, director of Bank BCA.
"There were many cases shown, such as applications in the form of wedding invitations, police identification cards, traffic tickets, and so on," said Santoso.
"This success is carried together for the sake of literacy awakening. Digitalization is progress, but, like currency, there is another side behind it that must be approached wisely and carefully," said Santoso.
Indro and Santoso also hope that this video can be an education and lesson for customers, not just an ordinary advertisement video.
"We want to invite this movement to become a national movement. BCA doesn't want to advertise itself. But, it wants to do good so that (customers) can avoid crime and bad things," said Indro.
