Separating from Kiwil, Meggy Wulandari Admits She Can't Be Content Being a Second Wife and Now Lives in Peace

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Kiwil is being sued for divorce by his second wife, Meggy Wulandari a few months ago. Although it is still unknown whether they are officially divorced, Meggy admits that her life is now much more peaceful.

It is not without reason that Meggy feels that she has never been able to get along with Kiwil's first wife, Rochimah. Through a post on Instagram, the beautiful hijab-wearing woman mentioned that she has 'let go of what is not hers'.

"Letting go of what is not mine because in reality, a husband is only a part of the worldly possessions. Polygamy is not my choice, but it is a part of life that has become my destiny and has been a part of my life," wrote Meggy in the caption of her post.

1. Unable to Accept Being a Second Wife

Polygamy is not prohibited in Indonesia, as long as the husband can provide for his wives. However, after decades of building a household, Meggy admits that she cannot accept being a second wife.

"Ending it was my decision, which I believe is good and has made my life much more comfortable. I can sleep peacefully without thinking about taking someone else's rights or hurting another woman's heart. Although I know that if everyone can accept it, the reward is heaven, but I choose to seek Allah's heaven in a different way, not through that way," she continued.

2. Being a Single Parent of 3 Children

Now Meggy is on the verge of becoming a single parent to three children. Although it may be challenging, she believes that this is the best path chosen by the Creator.

"Being a single parent is not easy, but there is Allah, who is Most Merciful and Compassionate, who knows the hearts of His servants because Allah is All-Seeing and All-Hearing. Happy Saturday," she concluded.
