Melly revealed that their initial introduction was actually because of an airplane ticket. At that time, Melly, who replaced the backing vocals for the band Katon Bagaskara, was still using an airplane ticket with the name of one of the crew members from the band Katon Bagaskara. 

Well, from there, during the flight, Anto Hoed kept teasing Melly. And apparently, the friends in the band Katon Bagaskara actually supported them becoming a couple. 

"Back in the day, airplane tickets didn't have to match the ID, so I was still using the ticket of one of the crew members, named Kinoi," said Melly Goeslaw.

"So on the plane, I was bothered by him, 'cie Kinoi, kinoi', and I was constantly bothered. I was also set up by the other band members, so it continued," she continued. 

2. Not Dating

What's even more interesting is that Melly Goeslaw and Anto Hoed never dated. After getting to know each other and becoming close for about 3 months, Anto then came to propose to Melly. 

"And we didn't date, we only knew each other for three months. We watched bands at cafes, then talked about life, music, and everything else. So eventually, it matched, and after 3 months, Mr. Anto came to propose," said the singer of the song "Gantung".
