The incident occurred when Rendy was driving home after mediating with a pastor on Monday early morning (31/7/2023). It certainly shocked many people.
As a result of the accident, the white Suzuki Baleno car that Rendy Kjaernett and Lady Nayoan were riding in was severely damaged after rolling over three times. Currently, the car is in a Suzuki workshop in Juanda, Bekasi, West Java.
"We were casually chatting when suddenly, as I was about to take the left lane, the car slipped and hit the concrete barrier on the left side. Then it rolled over three times. After that, I took Lady to the hospital and until now, I've been taking care of her," said Rendy Kjaernett at the Bekasi District Court, West Java, on Wednesday (2/8/2023).
During the accident, Rendy made sure he was not driving at high speed. In fact, Rendy Kjaernett admitted that he was driving under normal conditions and not in a hurry.
"I was driving at a normal speed in the right lane, and we were not in a rush anywhere. We were just casually chatting. There was no (100km/h), not even close. One thing for sure, there was no speeding or lane splitting," he said.
As a result of the incident, Rendy suffered an injury to his left hand. Meanwhile, Lady, according to Rendy, did not suffer serious injuries. However, Lady is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
"Lady's condition has improved, thank God there are no serious injuries and she still needs rest. If there are any fractures, it's just a shock from the doctor, but it's not a problem, no need to worry, she just needs intensive care and rest," said Rendy Kjaernett. "If there's bleeding, it might be from this (hand), if it's severe bleeding, it might be from this (left hand), torn and peeled," Rendy Kjaernett concluded.
