"Alhamdulillah today Shaista has graduated from high school, closing an important chapter in her journey and also starting a new step to pursue her future and dreams," wrote the 44-year-old actor.
Not only did she graduate, but Shaista also received two awards on that special occasion. This made Rio & his wife even prouder of Shaista.
"Graduating with the award as 1st Honor Award IPS Class and also the Multitalent Award," he continued.
According to this mixed Indonesian, Dutch, & German actor, the achievements of his child were not obtained instantly. There was a lot of hard work behind this achievement.
"It was touching and I felt proud to see her name called to the front to receive that award. There was hard work, commitment, spirit, effort, and serious struggle that I remember she had done behind this achievement," Rionaldo continued.
Finally, Rionaldo expressed his gratitude to Shaista for making him and his wife cry happy tears.
"Thank you, Shaista, today you made Dad smile proudly with tears in his eyes watching you at that moment (in Dad's camera viewfinder) holding two trophies, and for a moment made Mommy tear up too because of pride," concluded Rionaldo.
