Shandy Purnamasari Doesn't Know Police Stopped Investigation Against Putra Siregar's Report

Kapanlagi.com - The police stopped the case reported by Shandy Purnamasari against Putra Siregar in August 2021, related to the similarity between the PS Glow brand owned by the businessman and MS Glow products. This is because after conducting an investigation, the evidence for the case was insufficient.

Regarding this matter, Shandy Purnamasari admitted that she did not receive any information from the police that her report had been dropped and the investigation had been stopped.

"Until now, we have not received any information that the case has been stopped," said Arman Hanis, Shandy Purnamasari's lawyer, when met in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/3).

For now, Shandy Purnamasari is not willing to comment on the termination of her report. She will wait for the police to inform her.

"Whatever it is, we haven't received the SP2HP or notification from the National Police Headquarters," said Arman Hanis.

2. Allegations of Criminal Acts

As is known, Shandy Purnamasari reported Putra Siregar for alleged criminal acts of fraud and trademark infringement. In the report, Putra Siregar was accused of several criminal allegations.

Starting from the alleged crime related to trademarks for violating Article 100 Paragraph (1) and (2), Article 101 Paragraph (1) and (2), and Article 102 of Indonesian Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications. Then there is the alleged crime related to trade secrets for violating Article 17 juncto Article 13 and Article 14 of Indonesian Law Number 30 of 2000 concerning Trade Secrets, and the alleged acts of fraud and deception for violating Article 378, Article 55, and Article 56 of the Indonesian Criminal Code.

3. Investigation Stopped

Unfortunately, after the case had reached the investigation stage since September 29, 2021. The case was declared invalid after a case review, with the conclusion that there was not enough evidence to continue the investigation.

5. No More Contractual Cooperation
