In response to fans' questions, Shanice explained the type of amnesia her character experiences in the soap opera NALURI HATI through an Instagram caption.

"Dinda/Nayla experiences amnesia. There are several types of amnesia. One example is Anterograde Amnesia, which is a memory disorder related to past events that still stick to the person with this type of amnesia," Shanice explained.

"However, people with this type of amnesia can only remember past events. Transient Global Amnesia, on the other hand, is when a person with this type of amnesia experiences a complete loss of memory for specific events, even if they just happened," she continued.

"Lacunar Amnesia, on the other hand, is when a person with this type of amnesia experiences random memory loss regarding a specific event. That's it, guys!" Shanice concluded.
