Sharing Spiritual Experience While Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Raline Shah: Even If I Have to Die, I Must Go Up!

Kapanlagi.com - At the beginning of last year, Raline Shah successfully made headlines because of her achievement in reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro located in Tanzania. As we know, the peak of Kilimanjaro is one of the highest in the world. Of course, the climb there is not easy and requires a significant cost.

Raline rarely shares in detail about her experience reaching the summit at that time. However, to Daniel Mananta, the star of the movie 5CM, she revealed that she had a spiritual experience during the climb to the mountain with a height of 5895 meters above sea level.

"One day I went hiking to Mount Kilimanjaro, it was a super spiritual journey because it rained every day there. So every day the guide asked, 'Anyone wants to descend?'. And I was the only person who refused to descend from the beginning until I reached up there (the summit)," recalled Raline as quoted from Daniel Mananta Network's YouTube channel.

From her journey, Raline picked up a message from God that really hit her. This 35-year-old woman admitted that she had to do everything slowly without rushing.

"Because my country is very far away, I can't possibly fly to Africa and climb this mountain again. Even if I die, I will climb it! But I'm the slowest person, because people say, 'If you want to climb up, you have to do it slowly'. Then I went to my room and wrote it down. I need to take it slow. Yes, my life is also like that, God. I just need to relax, because I'm always in a hurry, calling people and making unnecessary drama. I just need to take it slow, that's His message," continued Raline.

2. Frequent Visits to Africa

Furthermore, Raline also revealed that she has been accustomed to visiting Africa since she was a child. Therefore, she is already familiar with everything there, except for the weather conditions.

"Reached the summit. Alhamdulillah. It's extraordinary, I'm proud of myself. So when I was a child, I often went to Africa. I usually went to the forest. That's not the difficult part. The difficult part is because it rains every day, so it's hot and cold, more on the physical side for me. The mental aspect is challenging, but because I'm someone who likes to sing, positive like that, it's like I learned a lot about myself. People on the journey also learn about me," concluded Raline.
