"Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun, we are all mourning, Indonesia is mourning. Syekh Ali has returned to Rahmatullah at 8:30 in the morning at Yarsi Hospital. InshaAllah he is a martyr," said Ustaz Yusuf Mansur quoted from his Instagram.

Yusuf Mansur reaffirmed that Syekh Ali Jaber passed away in a negative Covid-19 condition. As previously known, Syekh Ali was reported to have been exposed to the coronavirus.
"Indeed, Syeikh Ali passed away at 08:30, already in a negative Covid condition at RS Yarsi Cempaka Putih, Jakarta," he wrote.
