Shocked to Hear of Eeng Saptahadi's Passing, Mathias Muchus Couldn't Sleep

Kapanlagi.com - Senior actor Mathias Muchus was shocked to hear of the passing of his friend, Eeng Saptahadi. It is known that Eeng Saptahadi passed away at Primaya Bekasi Hospital on Sunday (21/5/2023).

"Last night we received news from friends that he had gone ahead, of course we were shocked. Personally, I had a bit of trouble sleeping last night. So around 2 or 3 o'clock I grabbed my phone and found out about this," said Mathias Muchus at TPU Cipenjo, Bogor, West Java, on Monday (22/5/2023).

"That night my tears had already run dry, in my own room, it was too much in my head," he added.

Eeng Saptahadi's departure was very sudden. Therefore, senior actors and actresses were shocked to hear of Eeng Saptahadi's passing. Moreover, Eeng himself never complained about his illness. Nevertheless, Mathias Muchus has come to terms with the loss of his friend.

"We have to accept it whether we like it or not. I have been friends with Eeng for 43 years. We were in the same batch in 1979 when Deddy Mizwar was in 1980, so we were in the same era," he said.

In the eyes of Mathias Muchus and the film industry, Eeng Saptahadi was a very special actor. During his lifetime, he always brought joy to everyone.

"I can only remember Eeng as a special person. He brought a kind of joy, pleasure, happiness, humor, and it was consistent," said Mathias Muchus.

"Hopefully Eeng's passing can give us all strength. May he be placed in the best place beside God, farewell Eeng," concluded Mathias Muchus.
