After knowing that his action became trending and a subject of discussion among netizens, Iqbaal is known to immediately give clarification to his fans. He gave the clarification through his Telegram channel which has more than 20 thousand followers.
“Hello friends, I hope you are always healthy. I want to explain some things related to the spread video of me singing Baby by Justin Bieber while wearing a scarf with Palestinian attributes,” Iqbaal wrote at the beginning of his clarification.
“First of all, I deeply apologize. It was my mistake for not doing further crosscheck about Justin Bieber who apparently is pro-Zionist/Israel,” Iqbaal Ramadhan continued.

After giving the opening greeting, it is known that the singer of 'Rindu Sendiri' gave several key points in his clarification. The first point is that he did not thoroughly search for information about the singer.
“Research about the artist will be conducted and ensured before performing in any karaoke stage. Lastly, thank you for pointing out my mistake,” said Iqbaal.
After this incident, Iqbaal stated that he will be more careful in singing someone's song and researching about the singer's background to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
