This reality show, directed by Sean Monteiro, tells the daily lives of siblings Sissy Prescillia, Jevin Julian, and Vanesha Prescilla. Their respective partners are also involved.

Nadia Hudyana as the creator of Bukan Keluarga Biasa reveals the fact that what is presented in this reality show is without manipulation. Both Sissy, Jevin, Vanesha, Rifat Sungkar, and Rinni Wulandari are only given a general theme for each episode. However, the development is returned to the involved talents.
"We already have a content plan for each episode, we have prepared what will be discussed. But we throw it back to the talents, we don't want to over brief. If it's like that, it won't be real. So we prepare topics or conversations that they will elaborate on themselves. Or if they have something to talk about, we also include it in the plan. The main point is that we are unscripted," explained Nadia in a video conference session with the media, Tuesday (31/3/2020).

Approximately for four months, the process of making the reality show Bukan Keluarga Biasa was carried out. Sissy Prescillia, along with her younger sibling and husband, expressed their joy in being involved in a presentation that is ready to air for 12 episodes starting from March 24th. Because for a long time, they have wanted to document their daily lives but it never materialized.
"Several times we had the idea of making a YouTube channel together, but it never happened. Then Nadia had this one idea. So I hope that through Bukan Keluarga Biasa, we can present something that inspires each other. What's certain is that this is an entertaining show and it's perfect in the current situation (social distancing)," Sissy emphasized in the same interview session.
