Sonny Septian Does Not Want to Be Viewed as a Sick Person, Fairuz A Rafiq Says His Spirit is Extraordinary

Sonny, known for his high spirit, refuses to be seen as a sick person. This is evident from his decision not to use a wheelchair when arriving at the hospital for his physiotherapy session.

"He doesn't want to be seen as sick, that's why he doesn't want to use a wheelchair getting down (from the car). He doesn’t want to use a wheelchair, 'I don’t want to be seen like a sick person'," explained Fairuz at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Central Jakarta, recently.

According to Fairuz A Rafiq, Sonny Septian's spirit is very inspiring, even though the reality that her husband has to face a stroke at a young age makes the recovery process a significant challenge. "His spirit is extraordinary. But, you know, being sick, still young, and suddenly having a stroke. It’s definitely not easy to suddenly bounce back as if nothing happened," Fairuz expressed.

As the main supporter, Fairuz is committed to not showing sadness or worry in front of Sonny. This is intended to keep her husband's spirits high. "I can't show him anything in front of him, so he stays motivated to recover," she said.

2. Sonny Is Forbidden to Stress by the Doctor

Fairuz also conveyed that the doctor has informed her that stress can affect Sonny's recovery process. Therefore, Fairuz is working hard to keep her husband's mental condition positive.

"The doctor just told me that he cannot be stressed. Because stress factors can lead to setbacks, not progress," Fairuz explained.

3. Fairuz's Hope

Although speaking about progress, Fairuz added that Sonny has begun to show improvement in his speaking abilities. "His speech is also quite pleasant, he's speaking more fluently now, no more stuttering. At first, he was stuttering a bit, but now he's much smoother," Fairuz expressed with hope.

During the recovery process, Fairuz continues to provide support and encouragement to Sonny, hoping that her husband can recover quickly and return to his former self. "We keep supporting and encouraging him so that his healing process improves," Fairuz added.

Fairuz also acknowledged that support from family and friends is very important for Sonny during this difficult time. "Support from loved ones is very helpful to keep him positive and motivated," she said.
