Spending 4 Days for the Opening until Exhausted Energy, Westny DJ Insists on Normal Birth

Kapanlagi.com - One of the celebrities known to be pregnant during the Covid-19 pandemic is Westny DJ. This FTV star just gave birth last Monday (20/4). She admitted that the childbirth process was unexpected.

Yes, she who gave birth normally apparently spent 5 days. Westny revealed this when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Friday (24/4/2020).

"Yes, it turned out that the childbirth process was unexpected, I thought the childbirth process would be like a normal person, it would take 1-2 days at most. But it turned out that I went through the opening process for 4 days and only gave birth on the 5th day," she said.

1. Problems in the Cervix

That happened not without reason. Apparently, Westny's cervix is long and deep.

"The process is long. It turns out that there is a problem with my cervix because the types of cervix in women are different. Mine is long and deep," Westny continued.

2. Insisting on Normal Delivery

She experienced slow dilation. Despite being almost without energy, Westny still wanted to have a normal delivery.

"So, my dilation process took 4 days and 5 days in total, 1cm took about 4 hours. So, on the third and fourth day, I was weak, had no energy, but I still wanted a normal delivery," added the actress who resides in Bali.

3. Dilation at Home

Giving birth in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is not easy. Westny was prohibited from going back and forth to the hospital and had to go through most of the dilation process at home.

"Because of Covid, we can't just go to the hospital freely. Patients are expected to come to the hospital when the dilation is more advanced. So, my personal midwife was on standby at home waiting for the dilation to reach 7. It was quite painful," she concluded.
