Standup Fest 2023 Brings Together 164 Comedians, Five Standupindo Founders Will Perform on One Stage

Kapanlagi.com - Standup Fest is ready to be held on August 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2023 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta. A total of 164 comedians have been confirmed to perform at Standup Fest 2023.

Starting from Boris Bokir, Bintang Emon, Marshel Widianto, Kiky Saputri, Arif Brata, Oza Rangkuti, Nopek Novian, to Ardit Erwandha will perform in the event. Not only the well-known ones, but a series of new comedians are also involved as performers at Standup Fest 2023.

"For the new comedians, we've been observing their performances for the past year, as they have performed in many small stages," said the President of Standupindo, Adjis Doaibu, in a press conference at the Comika office, South Jakarta, on Monday (31/7/2023).

"During the three full days of stand-up, there will be one day dedicated to Sohibul Diksi, and there will also be music in the closing," added the Vice President of Standupindo, Erwin Wu.

Standup Fest 2023 feels special this year. It brings together five Standupindo founders, namely Pandji Pragiwaksono, Ernest Prakasa, Isman HS, and Ryan Adriandhy.

"Because I want to let the five of them know that it's because of you five that we are like this now, do you realize it?", said Adjis Doaibu.

Meanwhile, Pandji Pragiwaksono mentioned that he will perform together with other founders on stage. This performance will be their first collaboration.

"Performing together as a group of five has never happened before, never gathered, never hung out," said Pandji.

The presence of Standup Fest 2024 is also inseparable from the support of Nivea Men. According to a representative from Nivea Men, Boban explained that the presence of Standup Fest 2023 is relevant to various campaigns that have been conducted.

"Standup Fest has become an eagerly awaited event by the Indonesian people, including men. By participating in this event, NIVEA Men hopes to reach a wider male audience," said Boban.

In addition, Standup Fest 2023 also received support from MRT Jakarta. They support various activities initiated by friends from the creative industry. In line with the material presented by the comedians, one of which is about criticism of everyday social issues.

"In the future, it is hoped that collaborations like this can continue to be carried out in the public transportation area, so as to further increase public interest in art, culture, and public transportation in Jakarta," said Ahmad Pratomo, Corporate Secretary of PT MRT Jakarta.
