Star in Porn Film Produced in South Jakarta, Actors Paid Rp10-15 Million

Kapanlagi.com - There are 12 actors involved in the production process of a pornographic video located in South Jakarta. Among the 12 actors, one of them also serves as a production secretary and has been apprehended by the police.

However, none of the 12 actors in the production have a permanent contract. All actors undergo production on a buyout system, being paid per title they portray.

"There is no contract for the actors used in the production of the mentioned pornographic film. So the payment is only once per film, with a payment range of Rp10-15 million," said Ade Safri, Head of the Metro Jaya Regional Police's Criminal Investigation Unit, on Tuesday (12/9).

To be able to enjoy adult content produced by the suspect, the audience is asked to pay for streaming fees. If they want to watch the full version, the audience must transfer to the appropriate account according to the package they choose.

"They will be directed to top up their account first related to the offered package, and there are already 10,000 (customers) on the Kelasbintang website. As for the types or rates offered, there are subscription packages for 1 day with a payment of Rp50,000. 1 week for Rp150,000, 1 month for Rp250,000, 1 year for Rp500,000," Ade continued.

After the customers pay, the admin will provide a username and password so that customers can access all adult content. The suspect's profit from selling this content has reached around Rp500 million during 1 year of operation since 2022.

2. Economic Motive

From the investigation results, the police arrested 5 suspects and discovered the motive behind the production of the adult film. They chose to make adult films due to economic factors in order to gain profits.

"For now, the motive is economic. Initially, suspect I (director and producer) made horror and comedy films, but they had fewer viewers. Finally, they tried making films with explicit content or adult scenes. And that's where the suspect uploaded them on 3 of their websites. Then, there were many customers accessing the websites, so the suspect continued making the intended films until they made 120 films," concluded Ade.
